We would like to welcome Leroy Walker, an HR veteran, to our team. With Mr Walker’s extensive experience, FairSetup is now a solid blend of entrepreneurial spirit with wisdom that only comes from decades of experience.
Leroy Walker has enjoyed over 25 years of HR executive and consulting experience in the technology/manufacturing, utilities, health insurance and housing industries. He specializes in designing and implementing systems to maximize leadership talent, increase accountability and effectiveness and translate strategic vision into solid business performance.
He led the workforce through a change process achieving the successful turnaround of a company in Receivership. In an Operations environment, Mr. Walker fostered innovation and designed performance systems, linking creativity, efficiency and sustainable business results. In partnership with healthcare payer senior executives, he created and led enterprise-wide organization redesign and change management initiatives.
Mr. Walker’s experience spans local and global companies in the private, public and non-profit sectors. He has worked for a broad variety of companies that include Raytheon Company, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MA, Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA), Black & Veatch/Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company, Beaver Water District and the Boston Housing Authority.
Mr. Walker’s passion for helping companies achieve superior business results is matched by his commitment to the Greater Boston community. He serves on the Board of Directors of Executive Service Corps of New England which provides consulting and capacity-building services to non-profit organizations. Mr. Walker is also a member of the Advisory Board for the Center for Collaborative Leadership and the Emerging Leaders Management Development Program at the University of Massachusetts – Boston. He also led the Leadership Pipeline Initiative of the LaWare Leadership Forum. The LaWare Leadership Forum was created by Paul Grogan, Cathy Minehan and John Hamill.
Mr. Walker lives in Milton where he served on the Town Finance Committee and presently serves on the School Committee and the Town Government Study Committee.
Mr. Walker holds a M.Ed., with a focus on System Development and Adaptation and a BS in Psychology, both from Boston University.
